We moored outside after a long day. The landlady and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu has great options supplemented with a specials board. We both had the lamb kofta burger and oh my goodness me it was an absolutely amazing. So much flavour and the chutney. Oh my word. The French fries were delicious too. We’ll definitely visit again.

We went for Sunday lunch at 1pm didn’t have to wait long to order and food came out after a reasonable wait. Food was lovely and hot, more than enough to feed the 3 of us. The waitresses were lovely and polite and accommodated to our needs.

What a fantastic canalside pub. The food was amazing, very fresh and tasty. Staff friendly and attentive. Lovely comforting bar area. We are staying in a camper van on the carpark for the night with permission in return for our custom. definitely recommend and stay again 👍🏻

Great pub for good value pub grub. Very helpful and happy staff, good selection of wine, beer and food. Will be coming back again. Also handy as we live on the canals and can moor up alongside the pub 😀 19th October 2024 Popped in again as we were moored up alongside the pub. Nothing has changed , thank god. Still great food, good wine and friendly staff. Always worth a stop off.

Arrived just after the kitchen had closed, but they were happy to serve up fish goujon sandwiches all round with a couple of bowls of chips. Very welcome on a cold day! Good food, great beer and a warm welcome, couldn't ask for more.
